Countercurrents.org is making a giant leap in the 13 years of its history. We are broadening. The main aim is to take the politics and vision of Countercurrents.org  to people who do not access internet. We will be Publishing books,  produce videos, facilitate video screenings  etc. Countercurrents.org is already a co-producer of a video documentary on Kandhamal violence which will be coming out shortly. To facilitate this Countercurrents.org has brought on board K.P. Sasi, eminent film maker, writer and social activist as Associate Editor.  Together, we will take Countercurrents.org to new heights.

To accomplish this vision I quit my day job. The salary from my day job was the mainstay of the income that sustained Countercurrents.org for the past 13 years.  I did this with the confidence that Countercurrents.org  readers will wholeheartedly support our endeavour.

We can do all these things and more if 2500 of our readers support our effort financially by making an annual subscription of Rs. 1000 or US $50. Countercurrents.org is read by about 5 lakh people every month and about 15 lakh articles are read by our readers each month.
