Need Help for Teesta

Dear Friends,
As you are all aware, life has been full of excitement for Teesta and me. Which is the reason why this delayed response from me. Contributions to CJP would be most helpful in this stressful period. Given below are bank details. But please not that (1) CJP's FCRA account remains frozen since January 2014. This means that money can be credited to the account but cannot be withdrawn till the account is 'de-frozen' which we hope will happen in the next few months. So contributions are welcome even as of today. Please also note that the for the FCRA account of CJP, the currency is not important. If you are not holding an Indian passport, your donation must go to the FCRA account only even if the payment is made through a Rupee account you might have with some bank in India. On the other hand, if you are an NRI and you wish to make a contribution through a non-rupee bank account outside India, your donation must still go to the domestic a/c of CJP. Details of both are given below/
Many thanks in advance.

Ahmad,
Please setup paypal or something which is convenient and legal, transparent, so that we can send our support, best is to use services of some well established NGO with enough legal fire and media power  in north america and europe, so that they cant shut it down or harass people involved.

Amit

Folks,

Yesterday my brother (Faraz Ahmad) informed me that Teesta and her husband's all accounts have been frozen by the reigning RSS government at the center. The attempt by the current government is to break the resolve of Teesta and her group to fight for the victims of Gujarat 2002 genocide orchestrated by RSS.

My brother suggested that we all, who stand against fascist forces which do not want justice to be done to the victims of the crimes committed during Modi's tenure as Gujarat's CM, may contribute on a monthly basis what we can afford to Teesta's group. I have decided to donate Rs1000.00 every month and authorized by brother to deposit it into an account which Teesta has been asked to create and communicate to all of us.

Faraz is passing this message amongst the like minded in his network.

To my friends who are outside India, a monthly donation of $20.00 will be enough to strengthen this cause till we win.

Kindly let others in your circle know about this and motivate them to make donations to Teesta's struggle.

regards,
Ahmad Cameron
