The coming water war between Africa and Europe

There is a map of Africa which almost all European political leaders keep on their tables. And,very few African leader are even aware of this map's existence. The map is also quite possibly the theater of future wars in Africa. These are countries whose leaders will soon be tagged « dictator » by the Western media and their governments will become « regimes » parroted by the same pseudo-journalists and Africa experts from their comfortable seats in Paris or London. This map shows the underground fresh water reserves across Africa.

The issue of water shortage is classified Top Secret in Europe. Because this subject is even worse than the ongoing problem of industrial desertification which has sent so many people into unemployment-at worst this is a cyclical problem. Especially since in economics, no country, no continent can remain in in adrift forever. There will come a time when water shortages would become an asset to gain comparative advantage over other nations or over other continents. Europeans, therefore, are more concerned about the shortage of drinking water than with unemployment, as the years go by and as the problem worsens with no feasible solutions in sight.

Which is why Africa has become a target. It is expected that the fresh water tankers will be loaded daily from African ports to supply life in Europe, from water for cooking, drinking, and even water for bathing, washing dishes, clothes etc. … the project is already underway.

STRATEGIES TO DECEIVE AFRICA

Europe is gearing up to import boat-loads of water from Africa, yes, but for free, no payments to Africa. To achieve this, for several decades now, several strategies have been deployed and they work quite well.
1 – Silence about the calamitous situation of water shortages in Europe. According to WHO, 40 children die each day from diarrhea in Europe from lack of water or poor water quality.

2 – Media gag on global warming and its catastrophic consequences for Africa. It often happens that even teachers at African universities, in good faith, participate in this charade, to the point of setting-up departments for global warming, or else conferences on the topic. And as might be expected, these initiatives are generously funded by European governments and NGOs which stoke this brainwashing effort. As a result, according to this propaganda, the African continent which will suffer the most from the so-called global warming. Its rivers will dry lakes will disappear and as a result, Africans will simply disappear. All this is true, of course, because the water that Africans need is underground, safely away from any effects of climate change and Africa lacks the financial resources extract and distribute this resource to all its citizens. Climate change is a big white elephant lie and they all know it, because when you look at the history of the world over a period of several million years, we realize that even the Bible, which is not a historical document, foretells an unexpected flood. The sudden disappearance of dinosaurs shows that our world is constantly changing and that dominant trends characterize every epoch without jeopardizing the very survival of the planet.

3 – Persuading Africans about water shortages. Using NGOs as accomplices, this false information is being distilled in the minds of Africans that the continent lacks water resources, millions of Africans are dying because of lack of water etc. … And even the United Nations  has been complicit in the charade by multiplying pseudo-lectures on the subject.
4 – Create pseudo-projects supposedly to help Africans access the water they lack. As I have previously detailed in my book « In Fuga dalle tenebre » Einaudi , 2007, I personally conducted analyses of water from many fountains installed with funding from so-called cooperation missions with European partners. And the result was overwhelming with more than half of them were contaminated , that is to say, the water that came out was polluted , and was nothing less than a veritable poison. At first I had blamed it on the amateurism or the incompetence of these nouveau philanthropists. Before I came to the conclusion later that it was all quite intentional, all the better that Africans consume polluted water today than for them to waste water which could be useful for Europe tomorrow. This is the situation. The problem that these seasoned European geostrategists have assessed in their log books is that Africans travel too many kilometers to fetch drinking water. So, they've dug a well in every village. They pretend not to understand that the ancestors of Africans who made these long trips were well aware from time immemorial that, they had not, unlike Romans, for example, find solutions to health problems associated with wastewater, much less those produced by human waste. And, being unable to solve these two difficult health problems, they resorted to walking many miles to fetch drinking water. With the installation of wells at the heart of the village, the population will be poisoned, since wells for drinking water will not become one big well amidst a series of small holes where people dump their waste. And with the system of communicating channels between the hundreds of small latrines and water well at the center, the water drawn is full of micro-organisms which have had time to grow at temperatures reaching 40°C and flies are numerous enough to add their contribution to the European Union's project to poison the local population.

THE TABOO SUBJECT OF WATER-SUPPLY SHORTAGES ACROSS EUROPE

According to WHO (World Health Organization), 1 in 5 Europeans have no drinking water. That is to say that 100 million Europeans suffer daily from lack of drinking water and its associated disease. In 2006, WHO tallied about 170,000 cases of waterborne diseases such as diarrhea, hepatitis A, typhoid fever within Europe… This explains why in January 2007 in Geneva, representatives of European countries met to finally launch the Protocol on Water and Health. While the subject had been taboo until then, the protocol was the first treaty aimed towards reducing the number of deaths and diseases linked to water in Europe. After the alarm sounded by the WHO, they were all well aware of the lack of follow-up on  commitments taken two years earlier, that is to say, in 2005, for the Second Decade of Water covering the period from 2005 thru 2015. But has this new more ambitious protocol improved the lives of Europeans vis-a-vis the availability of drinking water? And what about the situation in North America? We will learn more clearly in the following lines.

TOXIC POISONS

Whenever you visit Europe and the United States of America, avoid drinking tap water because even if it is considered safe, that is to say, according to the law, it is clear that the law is rather very lax and on certain pesticide residues and very high levels of lead. Do not eat fish, because in states like Florida, it is certified that the fish sold to consumers is toxic.

In the West, seas, rivers, streams and oceans borders are so much polluted that the fish served daily in these markets are are unfit for human consumption. And why are they not banned? Well, in advanced democracies, one must not discount the power of voting blocs. Thus, fishermen must be appeased so no votes will be lost in the upcoming local and national elections.

According to a statement from the French Food Safety Agency (ANSES), published on July 5th 2013; because of the contamination of fish sold in France from mercury and PCBs, the Agency recommends reducing fish consumption to no more than twice a week. Anyithing over that may result in death. The statement released by the AFP goes further to include fish from rivers and lakes, called « freshwater » and states the following:

« The consumption of freshwater fish known as bio-accumulators, such as eel, barbel, bream, carp or catfish should be limited to twice a month to once every two months for women of childbearing age, pregnant or lactating. Children less than three years, girls and adolescents are also affected by these recommendations. For the latter group of people, it is forbidden to eat wild predatory fish such as monkfish, sea bass, bonito, eel, grenadier, halibut, pike, bream, skate, tuna or sword , swordfish, marlin, siki due to a risk of mercury contamination. « 

The tragedy is this: if one cannot eat fish from a river, because despite the purifiers and various safety controls, the pollution levels are off the charts, how can we then call it "potable" water and advise people to drink from their taps water from the the same river?

AS IF THIS WASN'T ENOUGH…

According to the European Water Directive (EU-WFD), from 2015, water in the European Union would be considered potable based on the chemical composition of 33 so-called priority pollutants. Yes, but here it gets tricky: the choice of these 33 products has been the subject of lobbies by chemical industries not public heath considerations.

On May 1st 2011, the result of a serious study by 10 researchers from several European countries gathered around the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) was published in the journal Science Direct. This study of the most important rivers in Europe was entitled"Total Environment: A new risk assessment approach for the prioritization of 500 classical and emerging organic micro contaminants as potential river basin specific pollutants under the European Water Framework Directive". The scientists looked for pollutants in the water basins of the Elbe (Czech Republic / Germany), Danube (a river crossing 10 European countries), the Schelde (Belgium) and Llobregat rivers (Spain) . And, following analysis of 5,750 million samples, the results were stunning. First, two thirds of pollutants were pesticides. However, these pesticides are not part of the 33 pollutants that EU had set out researching. In other words, when the European tax-payer drinks a glass of water considered "safe" by the Directive, the water actually contains poisons that the EU has decided not to classify among the 33 pollutants. Not because they are less toxic, but just because they are the scrificial-lambs of the chemical industry which, being economically worthless, had the misfortune of being chosen to be part of the 33 pollutants

One of the scientists who conducted the investigation, Dr. Peter von der Ohe, a researcher at the UFZ, stated:

« None of the pesticides is on the list of 33 priority pollutants which must be monitored by authorities throughout the EU (…). Terbuthylazine is structurally related to pollutants simazine and atrazine compounds whose use is prohibited. Today, the majority of substances identified are unlisted, while the banned chemicals are no longer in use. European Water Framework Directive should in the future ensure not only to identify the chemicals, but also to monitor their effects. European authorities strangely pay too little attention to pesticides when they are more toxic and dangerous. This is why the list of priority pollutants must be revised. « 

In other words, there are chemicals that are banned in the European Union because they are dangerous, but which strangely find their way into the drinking water because although banned by the EU, no measures are taken to ensure that these chemicals never contaminate other consumer products. During their research into 500 pollutants, the most widespread of them was diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP), a highly toxic pollutant considered an endocrine disruptor. Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are « chemical substances of natural or artificial origin foreign to the body that can interfere with the functioning of all the endocrine glands

RED FLAG = FECAL MATTER ON BEACHES

In Europe, in order to ensure the health and safety of bathers and tourists, there are flags to indicate the state of danger. Ask what the « red flag » on beaches mean, and you'll be told « No swimming. » But as geostrategist, you cannot stop at that first question. Another question: Why can we not swim in the sea, lake or river? A simple question, you'll stumble upon one of the best kept secrets of European politicians, including those who have based their political capital on environmental issues.

When you see red flags on a beach in Europea, in most cases this simply means there is human excrement in very large quantities and large pieces on the beach and in the water where people want to go swimming. Often, the flag is not raised early enough and some swimmers find themselves with feces dripping from their faces or hair. This is what happened on August 2013 in many European beaches. For example, on August 8th 2013, the French regional newspaper Sud-Ouest, published pictures of sewage from the city of Biarritz pouring directly onto the beach and into the sea knowing full-well that the waves will wash it right back onto the beaches. Several politicians were interviewed by the newspaper to help solve this problem as soon as possible and to the journalists surprise, they were met with resignation – lack of money. And I must also add, the dearth of creativity by politicians. The politician should be someone capable of finding solutions in impossible situations. Instead, they all show. One of them, a Peio Claverie proudly responded with resignationin these words:

"Nobody has a miracle solution to this problem. We must remain humble but also accept to courageously roll-up our sleeves and invest massively in the healthcare systems, the economy and the environment for our future generations, of Biarritz".

Yes, you heard him loud and clear: at a time when European NGOs from all over are scrambling for  Africa, and in addition, with no funds available to provide complimentary African solutions to the problem of water, they are unable to resolve these problems for their own people in Europe. And in additoion, in their countries, it is their politicians who say they do not know what to do to clean up their wastewater and have resorted to dumping them into nature, into the sea, and onto beaches

POTABLE WATER POISONED WITH ARSENIC

Arsenic is one of the world's most dangerous poisons. It is what the French Emperor Napoleon was murdered with. It is now used in the manufacture of insecticides and rodenticides, very effective in killing pests. The World Health Organization has established that anyhting above 10 micrograms of arsenic per liter of water, it becomes a health hazard. It is the cause for various cancers: lung, skin, bladder, kidney, liver … It is also responsible for cardiovascular disease. Several deaths from heart attacks are caused by arsenic. When someone is murdered using arsenic, the medical examiner studies the victim's exteremities such as their hair, because this poison, usually drunk in water, rapidly concentrates in hair and nails. Symptoms of arsenic poisoning are usually headaches, abdominal pain, dizziness and vomiting when doses are low and at very high doses, coma and death occure immediately, because vital organs of the body such as heart, brain, kidneys and liver are quickly incapacitated.
In Europe, most of the water fit for human consumption is indeed poisoned with arsenic. Whether tap water or bottled water. In France, for example, in order not to upset the producers of mineral water, there is no control, no standards, no limits and therefore no indication on the label of mineral waters for the presence and quantity of arsenic. This is why in France, it is said that tap water is healthier than bottled water. Yes, it is said, without ever explaining why. This is very serious, because it does not happen even in North Korea. And most NGOs are so nice attend to safe water supply for African, turn away, since typically, to go into Africa, they are also and especially financed by those same industries which sell this poison. Paradoxically, when the grand summits and meetings at the highest level are held in Africa, proudly dsplayed on the tables are these bottles of arsenic French water. While Africa's waters are considered to be the purest and healthiest in the world from the absence of polluting industries and intensive farming. On 25 March 2013, The French magazine 60 Million Consumers published the results of an investigation by testing 47 bottles of mineral water bought on the market. This results included in the April 2013 issue are most surprising, with the most well-known brands, if not the best known, and results showed them all to be contaminated with pesticide, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

According to WHO, anything over 20 milligrams of arsenic per liter of tap water or in bottled water, the drinker will take 10 years to develop cancer of the kidney or lungs. And my bet is that sooner or later Europeans will discover that their politicians  have been fooling them, and on that day, Africa's  mineral water resources will be sought after like gold nuggets.

POISONED TAP WATER IN  128  CITIES IN ITALY ACCORDING TO THE EU

On October 28th  2010, the European Commission in Brussels took a curious decision with reference: C (2010) 7605 . After reading the first few lines, it seemed to be upmteenth most boring document promulgated by this Institution. But the more one reads further, the more one realises that there is something wrong . The plot drips through each chapter. It was like reading the preface of a horror novel. And then discovering with amazement that Europe is refusing to extend the right to Italian politicians to continue poisoning their own people using tap water. In this 66-page document (which you can download from my websitehttp://www.pougala.org ), the European Commission made ??a list of 128 Italian municipalities in which the concentration of arsenic often exceeds 50 micrograms per liter. As in Velletri , near the Italian capital, that is, more than 5 times the limits authorized by the World Health Organization (WHO)….. Of these 128 municipalities, we can count 91 towns in the region of Lazio (Rome), 19 in Tuscany ( Florence) , 10 in Trentino -Alto Adige (Bolzano) and 8 towns in Lombardy (Milan), The European Commission, by this decision demanded Italy to stop lying to its citizens, but to tell them truth , that is to say they're drinking poison, marketed as "potable" tap water, often with pious thoughts of poor Africans who do not have clean drinking water.

Arsenic has poisoned almost all soils in Europe, due to the overuse of pesticides over many decades. To be effective and kill the maximum insects which attack plants, pesticides are made from arsenic . Thus, following its application, arsenic will cover agricultural land which are then thoroughly washed with water runoff from rain. And that's how arsenic ends up in groundwater where we all draw tap water from, chlorinated against living organisms and not against poisons . It is banned in many countries, but not in the U.S., where it is used abundantly and with dramatic consequences on food in the United States of America.

100% OF AMERICAN RICE IS POISONED WITH ARSENIC 

On October 14, 2012 the American monthly magazine « Consumer Reports » published the results of a study of 32 different types of rice and 200 samples of rice products. The results were clear: all products were contaminated with arsenic at levels above the rates permitted under U.S. law. All this is due to use of contaminated water to irrigate the rice plantations. The magazine also informs us that certain types of « inorganic » rice were contaminated with arsenic which is a very dangerous human carcinogens responsible for cancers of the bladder, skin and lungs. Consumer Reports concludes by telling us that a portion of rice tested contained between 3.5 to 6.7 micrograms of inorganic arsenic, that is to say the deaths from cancer are guaranteed to occur after ten years of consuming rice. Things are no better in Europe. In May 2013, Denmark recommended that parents no longer serve their children rice and rice-based products such as: rice milk, rice milk, and rice pasta (also known as Chinese noodles) because of the presence of high doses of arsenic from rice grown in Denmark. It is a poison which passes easily from water to food. The daily Danish cereal breakfast of puffed rice is also prohibited.

FRENCH TAP WATER IS THE MOST POLLUTED IN THE WORLD – THE CASE OF BRETAGNE

According to the European Union, 2,000,000 French citizens do not have access to potable water. Those who do, drink water polluted by the overuse of pesticides in intensive farming. The case of the French region of Brittany is sobering. This area represents only 7% of the French agricultural land but 50% of French poultry, 50% of pig farms and 30% of cattle farms and cows. Feces and urine from livestock are of such a high amounts that it would take a miracle do to eliminate them. This is what explains why almost all rivers are contaminated, and worse, even groundwater is contaminated in across the region.

At a press conference by Sylvie Pradelle, National director of the Consumers Association UFC-Que Choisir held in Paris March 20, 2012, we learned that 2,750 French towns have contaminated tap water. That is in violation of French law. But what is that standard? It requires that tap water can contain no morre than 50 mg/liter of nitrates. For anythign above that, the water is considered polluted. By comparison, samples of spring water we collected from villages in Cameroon showed no traces of nitrates in our analyses, makign it amongst the purest waters in the world. And Mrs. Pradelle sadly concluded, « There are nearly two million consumers who pay for significantly polluted water (…) the French municipalities which distribute water which meets standards are only able to do so through basic workarounds (dilution of catchments water, depollution measures or abandonment or sources).  » This best explains why on February 27th 2012 a statement by the European Commission in Brussels tells that French politicians had been summoned to the European Court of Justice because they continue to poison their own people. Here's what the press release tells us:

« The European Commission hereby refers the French Government to the EU Court of Justice for failing to take effective measures against water pollution by nitrates (…) The Commission therefore urges France to take action by designating more areas and developing appropriate plans to deal with the problem (…) But the slow progress and the failure of the proposed changes have led the Commission to transfer the case to the Court of Justice. « 

It was finally on Thursday, June 13, 2013 when a sentence by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) was handed down vis-a-vis France condemning its violations of the Nitrates Directive of 1991. The order issues a list of 19,000 French communes designated « vulnerable » where tap water is seriously polluted i.e. above 50 mg / L. If nothing is done within a reasonable time, this sentence is a mere prelude to a possible fine of tens of millions of Euros, and even daily penalties of up to € 130,000/ day.

Below is a sample of reactions by four high-ranking French public officials:
Jean-François Piquot, spokesman for the Water and Rivers Association of Bretaigne: « The French government chose to comply with the directive at a bare minimum thereby saving taxpayers and consumers billion of Euros each year in costs of water pollution from nitrates, rather than pushing to change farming systems (…). This sentence comes three days after the (French) National Assembly abandoned the project of taxing nitrogen-based fertilizers. « 

According to Euro-Deputy Sandrine Aries, « For decades now, the French government has been seduced by the lure of lobbies from the intensive agriculture industry and away from its role as guarantor of the public interest. »

Corinne Lepage, former French Minister for Ecology: « The state of denial in which France is sinking into with regards to water pollution has returned like a double-edged boomerang: pollution of our waters by nitrates with green algae, reasonwhy the Appeals Court of Rennes has just condemned the (French) state and threatened very high fines.  » Arnaud Gosse, lawyer, expert in environmental law: « This case is probably one of the most serious failures of environmental law (…) It reveals a glaring lack of environmental dialogue and an inability by the State to exercise its police powers to organize a new model of agriculture. « 

PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS IN TAP WATER – THE CASE OF GERMAN 

As reported by the American researcher Peter Montague in the scientific journal « Rachel's Environment and Health Weekly » No 614 of September 3rd 1998, the first time that scholars have conducted research on the presence of drugs in the water goes back to 1976 . The tests were conducted in the USA at the BIG BLUE RIVERS (Kansas City) water purification facility. It wasn't until 1997 that its authors have the courage to reveal what they had found in the scientific journal « LIFE SCIENCE » of January 15th 1997. After these brave authors were struck by lightning on the road to pharmaceutical industry's Damascus, the global scientific community retreated in to dead silence. Meanwhile, it was until 1992 that, swept in the euphoria of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the unification of the two Germany's, researchers would enjoy relative freedom to tackle this problem. They found quantities of clofibric acid (CA), contained in drugss to fight bad cholesterol in the body. Concurring studies by Danish, Swedish and German researchers have shown that the North Sea is a dump for these substance resulting in an observation that 100% of the fish caught are contaminated, like the dried stockfish and marketed throughout Africa as the Ferrari of fish.

According to Montague, samples of tap water from the city of Berlin over 10 years showed contamination from pharmaceutical drugs (antibiotics, hormones, tranquilizers, strong painkillers, products used in cancer chemotherapy, etc … ). He cites many German researchers who have shown that: whever sampleos of water are collected from any German city, once the study is completed, there is contamination from 30 to 40 different types of medication. But how is it possible that the tap water is contaminated by medications and from various drugs like cocaine, crack and marijuana? Everything is connected to the sewage system, which is then transferred into the rivers and streams which in turn supplies the water collection stations, and hence to the taps of consumer's homes. To better understand this, lets consider the central sewage system of a city like Montreal, Canada.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CENTRAL PURIFICATIONS SYSTEMS – THE EXAMPLE FROM MONTREAL, CANADA

A wastewater treatment plant is made to treat wastewater from either homes or factories. It is made of three different stages: primary treatment where solid objects present in the wastewater are eliminated as. Next comes secondary treatment wherein micro-organisms attack and diget organic matter, and finally the tertiary treatment where water is disinfected. In practice, the treatment in North America and Europe stations serve merely for primary treatment. The worst part is that even in the secondary treatment, micro-organisms do not eliminate drugs, drugs, perfumes…
In two separate studies, the first 28 pages and the second 11 pages long (found on www.pougala.org), entitled « Wastewater and St. Lawrence River: Problems and Solutions », the authors Helen Godmaire from the collective: « Union St. Lawrence Great Lakes, » Demers Andréanne Edith Lacroix and the collective « Water Ways » tells us about the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River basin, covering an area of ??766,000 km ² and drainning a basin of about 1 610,000 km ², from which 25 million people draw their drinking water. They also discharge their wastewater into it, after the central purification facility at Montreal perfroms its magic, but which turns out to be mere wishful thinking than  fact, since only primary treatment is done, that is to say, just filtering out solid objects from wastewater only to eventually pour untreated into the St. Lawrence River.

To explain the seriousness of this situation, the authors even provided figures: the Montreal wastewater treatment plant which treats 40% of wastewater across the province of Quebec poured this first-degree treated water into the St. Lawrence River at a daily rate of 2.7 million m3composed of detergents and other cleaning products, drugs and medications. Naturally injecting it into the food chain starting with fish and potable water used for agriculture and human consumption. This is how we end up with arsenic-laden rice from the United States.

CONCLUSION

When one dissects the information contained in this lesson, we are prompted to ask how is it possible that all these people in the West are willing to be poisoned by their own politicians? This is simply because they live under dictatorships. In error, we 've come to believe that the dictatorships are a political systems reserved for "special" countries. In fact, nowadays, dictatorships are fragmented, dispersed and present at every level especially in economic power in society. In the West, there is the dictatorship of the industrial lobbies. And in the case of contaminated water and food that is served blithely to their populace, it is for no other reason than the dictatorship of the food industry.

What most people do not know is that in the United States no one is free to criticize these industries and much like in dictatorships, any one who dares, goes straight to jail. In the state of Colorado, for example, you go straight to jail if you criticize hormones in meat. Worse, you go to jail if youshoot and publish any pictures of farms where animals in their cages. In the U.S., the dictatorship is not where you expect it. It is in your dish food and nobody has the right to ask this simple question: Why are Americans the only ones in the world to weigh 200kg? What is so different in their food to achieve such excess weight on a person? We're not in North Korea, but at the heart of the vaunted advanced democracies of the West. You are free to say whatever you want if nobody hears you, but if you say on a TV, prison time is virtually certain. This is certainly what happened to the TV presenter Oprah who found out the hard way.

In April 1996, Oprah Winfrey, the world-famous talk show host in the United States invited Howard Lyman, a vegetarian activist from the Humane Society of the United States to comment on the outbreak of mad cow disease which began in Britain and its likely consequences on the American consumer. The show is watched daily by 22 million Americans. The next day, beef prices fell by 10%. Texas farmers took Oprah Winfrey to court for « inciting fear of eating beef, » claiming to have lost billions of dollars as a result of this comment. The trial began in January 1998 and will drag on for four years with the victory of Oprah Winfrey, whose lawyers had been able to prove that with images on television of mad cow disease in the UK, the price of beef was already falling before transmission.

At first glance, Oprah Winfrey won the case, but when you look closer, it is the dictatorship of the food industry who won the trial, because, yes, Oprah Winfrey has avoided going to jail but over 4 years she paid $1million in legal fees. A high enough amount to discourage reporters, journalists, researchers, radio commentators, TV presenters or politicians would fall the temptataion of wanting to nquire into what Americans are eating, not even the President of the United States. His wife Michelle Obama is forced resort to a subterfuge to address the issue by simply inviting Americans to eat vegetables and to excercise more. Any further and she knows what to expect.

WHAT LESSONS FOR AFRICA ?

You cannot oppress all the people all the time, said the U.S. President Abe Lincoln. Today, Europeans and Americans live under a form of dictatorship by the food industry, but that will not last forever. Sooner or later, these people will find ways to get rid of their dictatorships. When that day comes, they will want to eat healthy foods and drink cleaner water. On that day, Africa must be prepared to deliver it. Africa has the what it takes, it has the means. It lacks the political and economic resource to arrange for the appointment which wont be long coming. While working with my colleagues in our experiment in Cameroonian villages, we explored the goal of bottling spring water in the village for the European market, many elites look at us like aliens and often reminded us that mineral water is shipped from France to Cameroon and that the reverse seemd misguided to them. What they do not know, and what we understood, is that the revolution of European people to liberate themselves from the oppression of an unhealthy diets will not be long, and we are just preparing our villages to be ready for this eventuality.

Similarly, Nations must secure their water supplies to avoid the march of the same predators who have brought the West to its knees. Contrary to what you may imagine, pure and healthy water in Africa will generate far more covetting over the next 20 years than oil. Because we can find alternative sources of oil, but so far, nothing beats water. This water which Africa has in abundance and which can and must bring it value over the coming years will only happen if political and economic leaders understand its strategic value. Amongst European countries today, those who have more available drinking water are already selling it at cur-throat prices to those who have less. For example, in 1983, the city of Marseille(France) shipped tankers loaded with drinking water to the Spanish city of Barcelona. And May 21st, 2008, we moved into high gear with daily deliveries of 36,000 cubic meters of drinking water for just € 1/ m3 meters. It is not always easy to access such sensitive information on the sale of loaded water tankers in Europe. But according to the balance sheets of both companies contracted to distribute water in Marseille, the Company Canal de Provence (SCP) and the Water Company Marseille (SEM), we know that between 1989 and 1990, Marseille delivered 1.5 million cubic meters of drinking water to the island of Sardinia in Italy.

Elsewhere in Europe, many are already stealing potable water. Yes, you heard me, drinking water at this point has become such a rare commodity that it is being stolen. That, inany case, is what could be read in one of the Italian dailiesLa Repubblica on September 10th 2011 under the title: « Sprechi, Furti, Allacci abusivi: l'acqua rubata « di Palermo »(Waste , theft, illegal connections: water theft in Palermo). From two journalists: Sara Scarafia and Antonio FRASCHILLA,  we discover that in the 3 main cities of the island of Sicily, Italy i.e. Palermo, Catania and Siracusa, 50% of tap water is stolen along the way. Because of the scarcity of water and its high price, people get busy all night -in the dark with flashlights, digging to install underground pipes to siphon water from the city. Shutting down their nocturnal operations just before dawn. The city of Palermo has had to develop a special brigade for this new breed of thieves and its leader, Guido Catalano, tells La Repubblicareporters that during the month of August 2011, they discovered 100 underground pipes installed to steal water from the city.

Africa should be prepared not to suffer this new genre of international crime which might soon befall her sooner or later, under the gise of the  « International Community » coming to help save tribes of people who have allegedly been gassed with chemical weapons by the designated dictator-du jour, but primed to maximize the fallout and to take advantage of the situation drinking water shortages  in Europe. In order to win the future water wars which Europeans are already preparing against Africa, our continent should already be aware of their privileged position in this highly strategic area and to be on guard not only to properly defend itself when this happens, but also and especially to capitalize and fund its own prosperity.
