Probing CWG Scam, Shunglu Committee expenses were roughly Rs 1 cr per month!

Reply to an RTI application revealed that It was a two member committee consisting of V K Shunglu and former DOPT Secretary Shantanu Consul ran up expense in the first 4 months as follows: 

Expenses upto 23rd June 2011:

Salary/stipend = Rs 48 Lakhs approx

Office Expenditure = Rs 14 lakhs approx

Professional Expenses = Rs 3.39 Crors approx
