Piare Bhai Sahib Janan Shahbaz Thuthaal ji,

Aslaam O Alaikum!

This is in reply to your question, "Were they sleeping in 1947?"
Whether they (the Sikhs, I suppose this is your meaning) were sleeping or awake (to what extent), I do not know.

Indeed the article has its pitfalls, because the author, as I presume, is a bit immature. He may not be familiar with the Sikh History from the Sikh point of view. That is what I would think.

The person who is one of the 'traitors' of the Sikh Nation (Khalistan is the combination of Khalsa means Sovereign and Stan means Land, that is, The Land of Sovereign people. And certainly it is 'not' the Land of Pure. This is my basis to consider the author 'immature' and/or playing knowingly or unknowingly in the hands of anti-Sikh, anti-Sikh nation, anti-Sikh Code of Conduct forces, and many others also. The author should not have allowed to raise the silly questions or let others to think about him, as far as his depth of the Sikh affairs.

In fact, a person born in a 'Brahmin' family, south protection for his life in a Sikh family, then converted as a 'Sikh', to the 'House of Guru Nanak Sahib', had been virtually 'devoid' of the Sikh religion and its basics, attained respect as a SIKH (Akali) leader, was indeed a sympathizer more with the anti-Sikh 'Brahmins-Hindus' than the well wisher of the Sikhs, the Sikh Nation alias the 'House of Guru Nanak Sahib. Here, the author must have taken into consideration the 'Facts of the Sikh History from the Sikh point of view'. He remained failed, however.

Best wishes.

Your brother,

Awatar Singh Sekhon (Machaki)

Rest he, the author, has to clarify what he was up to?
