WKDA Condemns the Assassination of Federal Minister of Religious Affairs, Shahbaz Bhatti

Federal Minister for Minorities, Shahbaz Bhatti assassinatedThe unknown gunmen killed the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Shahbaz Bhatti, outside his home, when he was on his way to attend a cabinet meeting in Islamabad. As per reports, after the three killers left the scene, Shahbaz Bhatti was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where he succumbed to bullets wounds.

World Kashmir Diaspora Alliance strongly condemns the sad demise of Mr Shahbaz Bhatti and demand from the Government of Pakistan to ensure safety to every single person living in their jurisdiction.  Any minorities living in Pakistan such as Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs and Christians are equally important as the Muslims who are the majority.  These minorities are also an asset to the nation. We  convey our  heartfelt condolences to his family and we equally share in your grief.

Regards,

Habib Yousafzai
