Subject: Police action at Ramlila Maidan: Is the SC addressing itself with the correct Q ?
To:

13th June 2011

To,

Hon'ble Chief Justice of India

Supreme Court of India

India.

Reg: Police action at Ramlila Maidan: Is the SC addressing itself with wrong Q ?

My Lords, I crave leave -

I am given to understand that –

  1. The Hon'ble SC has taken Su moto cognizance of media footages of what has transpired at Ramlila Maidan on 5th June 2011 1.30 AM.

  1. The SC has issued notice to (1) Delhi Police (2) Delhi Govt (3) Home Ministry, GOI, seeking explanation.

  1. The "State" (1) (2) (3) above are prepared to justify said sanctioned police action and they are capable of justifying almost anything.

I am only to say –

  • The Q before this Hon'ble SC is NOT that why the "State" sanctioned such police action.

  • The real Q before this Hon'ble SC is – while looking at the media footages that are available or provided to the Hon'ble SC, whether the "said Police action" pass the test of constitutionality ? ? ? ?

I take leave to address this mail to all stake holders of Indian Democracy.

A aggrieved's act of seeking courts' intervention, in fact, is an appeal to the judicial conscience of the sitting judge, to do that - which all prudent man will do, in the facts of the case.
