Latest News:
EGYPT: November 27. This is the 9th day of mass protests in Tahrir Square and adjoining areas against Field Marshal Tantawi and the Hosni Mubarak left overs who are trying to ram down a fake election on Nov. 28 which would legitimize military rule behind a civilian facade. At least 41 people have been killed and more than 2000 injured by security forces trying to break up the protests.
[The Muslim Brotherhood [Ikhwan] is linked to the military [US] rule and hopes to get a good number of seats in these "elections." Tantawi was Mubarak's Defense man for 20 years and made sure the embargo on Gaza was enforced, with Israeli and US support.- editor]
----------------------
Pakistan: On November 26:  US helicopters hit two Pakistani military posts on the Afghan border, in the Mohmand area, killing 24 Paki troops. There is furor in the country. Pakistanis are suddenly realizing that their "friends" could destroy them. Pakistan used to allow convoys of huge trucks to supply NATO's occupation forces in Afghanistan. These convoys are now stranded at the Khyber and Bolan entry points as Pakistan "protests" to the US about the bombing! Another secret is out: Pakistan has "ordered" the US to leave the Shamsi air base INSIDE Pakistan which is used to bomb Islamic villages.
[Jamaate Islami has been telling Pakistanis for years that USA is not their friend. Pakistanis had to wait for this bombing to be a wake up call. Meanwhile Imran Khan, a good friend of the West, is preparing to "rule" if the Zardari government falls. He suddenly became the Savior. His organization is skimpy but the army seems to have organized  crowds for him. Should we laugh or cry? - editor]

Afghanistan: November 24. [From the New York Times.] In the Zhare district of Kandahar province, six Afghan children and an adult civilian were killed in a NATO air strike. The children, from one family, were aged 4 to 12 years. Their uncle rejected the NATO claim that it was pursuing Taliban fighters. He said, there were no Taliban in the area. [NT editor's comment: It's a shame that Pakistan did not say a word when Muslim children were killed across the border by an occupation force which Pakistan supplies. Now that Pakistani troops have been killed by the same force, Pakistanis are upset. Such double standards reveal a deep drift away from genuine Islam.]

Business Behind the Thanksgiving Day Myth

The Thanksgiving myth is big business. I saw gaggles of tourists at Plymouth today, oggling the actual site (there is a marker, but no rock, lol); standing in lines to buy cheap souvenirs from the plethora of gift shops or tickets to tour the Mayflower (ship) replica; Plimoth Plantation, where you can dress as a lil' injun for the day; Burial Hill, where settlers are buried (and Native people or their decimation is entirely absent from the discussion); or one of the many boutiques or restaurants bearing "Indian" names or images.
I wish these tourists would instead tour the Navaho houses with uranium tailings dumped next to them by Kerr-McGee (U.S. multinational) and its ilk; or river beds in the Pacific Northwest where huge numbers of salmon lay dying as a result of toxic dumping by multinational corporations, depriving Native fisherman there of a livelihood; or Lakota lands devoid of buffalo and rife with unemployment and alcohalism. Native people are not a musuem item, and tourists (as well as all of us) need to wake up and smell the ongoing genocide.

Latest Revolutionary Khutba
Mohurram Starts Islamic Calendar: Invites Internationalism & Global Transformation.
America Belongs to Allah: Not to any one Race!
3:195 A three step program central to Islam.

On November 25, Dr. Kaukab Siddique gave the juma khutba and led the prayers at a small mosque in Baltimore, Maryland. Here are the main points of his khutba for distribution to imams all over America.

Text: "And their Lord has accepted their prayer and answered it thus:'Surely I will not allow to be wasted the efforts of any of you, be ye male or female; you are from each other: those who migrated from their homes, or were driven out from there, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or were slain --- undoubtedly I will remove from them their sins and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing below them - a reward from the Presence of Allah, and from His Presence is the best of rewards.' " [The Qur'an 3:195]

Text: "If there were to be a prophet after me, indeed it would be Umar, son of Khattab." [Hadithe Muhammad, pbuh, in Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith 3686]

1. The Islamic calendar provides context to Muslims for their past and future.

2. The calendar begins with the hijra [migration] of Muhammad, peace and blessings be on him, from Makka to Madinah. The calendar was founded by Umar ibn al-Khattab, r.a., the Second Rightly Guided Caliph. Later, he was martyred on the first of Mohurram. It is the anniversary of greatest Caliph of Islam, Umar, r.a.

3. The 10th day of Mohurram is in memory of the destruction of Pharoah and his army. Islam has come to put an end to dictatorship, kingship and tyranny. We are urged to fast on the 9th and 10th of Mohurram in memory of the fall of the Pharoah. [Notice that the Pharoah of our time, Hosni Mubarak, has also fallen under the ocean of Islamic masses. Others will fall soon, inshallah.]

4. Mohurram, with its message of hijra, indicates to us that nationalism is alien to Islam. The whole world belongs to Allah and to the True Believers in Allah's message.

5. The Prophet's, pbuh, hijra shows us that nothing in this world is more important for Believers than Islam. He and the Sahaba, r.a., [the blessed Companions] left Makka with nothing. They were destitute but their wealth was faith and trust in Allah. The Hereafter is better and more lasting, says the Qur'an.

6. Verse 195 of Sura Ale-Imran teaches us the three most important aspects of Islamic social action: 1. The unity and equality of men and women under the leadership of Muhammad, pbuh.. 2. Hijra [migration], not submission, if the oppression becomes intolerable, 3. and finally jihad against those who assault Muslims physically and occupy Muslim lands.

7. The first hijra was to Africa. So we have a special connection with Africa. The Christian ruler of Habsh [Ethiopia] listened to the verses of the Qur'an about Mary and Jesus, peace be on them, [recited by Jafar, r.a] and proclaimed with tears of emotion in his eyes that the Qur'an spoke the truth..

8. Islamic forces led by Khalid ibn al-Waleed, r.a., and others destroyed the two world powers of the time. The empires of Persia and Rome were based on slavery and the subjugation of women. They crumbled because Islamic warriors were fearless and the slaves and women learned that Islam had come to liberate them.

9. Bilal, r.a., slew the slave master Ummaya. That's the message of Islam about slavery. In Zakat, Allah has ordained a requirement for the use of funds to free the captives and slaves of all kinds. Allah does not accept the prayers of one who enslaves people. [Sahih Bukhari.]

10. America belongs to Allah Almighty, not to any master race. America needs Islam to achieve its true greatness after being led astray by Zionists of all types. Here we must teach an internal hijra, away from CONSUMERISM and the drive for goods and riches.

11. The OCCUPY WALL STREET movement is very weak. To topple capitalism, the "occupiers" should listen to Islam and reject INTEREST on loans [all kinds of interest]. The Qur'an teaches the rejection of interest as the first step towards a people-oriented economic system.

An Invitation to think: Spotlights on Israel, Illegitimate child of the West.
Spotlights from Imam Badi Ali, National Shoora leader of JAM, North Carolina.
Photo of Imam Badi by Nadrat Siddique

Spotlight # 1: Israel wants to expand from the Euphrates to the Nile. One simple way out would be for the US, Israel's ally, to provide open immigration to people living in Iraq, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. Their populations are lusting to live in the US and then Israel will have no problem. [Smile!]

Spotlight # 2: Everyone who supports Israel is, objectively, a Zionist, be it through providing petroleum to Israel or by setting up an Israeli embassy. Similiarly, everyone supports occupation if one contributes to the works of the partners in the occupation.

Spotlight #3: Israel is an illegal entity, an illegitimate child of the West planted in the heart of the Middle East and protected by dictators and kings of the countries surrounding it. What does the West hope to do with this illegitimate child?

Spotlight #4: Islamic movements will have to tackle the problems of racism and sectarianism and nationalism. Today Kuwaitis think they are different from Iraqis. Sudan has similar problems. There are obstacles in the way but finally Islam will win.

Spotlight #5: Nationalism is a major tool of division and disunity. Islam is opposed to it.

Spotlight #6: Political, economic and social problems are not new. They have always been there. Umar ibn al-Khattab, r.a., was aware of them. We have not been trying Islam in real life, otherwise we would have solved these problems.

Spotlight #7: We should ask people with beards working with the West, like Amr Khaled and Ramadan. are you for the deen or are you exploiting the religion? If you were working for the sake of Allah, you would not be USING the religion as if it is an exploitative tool.

Romney and Obama Battle It Out For Israel Lobby Support
Philip Weiss
http://mondoweiss.net/2011/11/romney-and-obama-battle-it-out-in-the-primary-for-the-israel-lobby.html

In Saturday night's Republican debate, Mitt Romney gave a defiant statement about Iran: he will stop it from getting nukes by any means, Obama won't. Yesterday Obama sought to parry Romney, saying that he is taking no option off the table. Are we witnessing a primary between Romney and Obama right now, for the support of the Israel lobby? I think so ... Obama and Romney are squaring off in an Israel lobby primary, to try and gain Jewish financial support, anticipating the big race ahead. The neoconservatives and J Street are arguing over who can deliver that support. Politics never stays in the same place, but somehow I fear that hawkish voices will dominate my community once again.

An Appeal to Challenge Jewish/Zionist Censorship
American Jewish/Zionist Groups, ADL & Hillel Feverishly trying to Stop Open Debate on the Holocaust. They Face Bradley Smith.
For twenty years Committee for Open Debate on the Holocaust (CODOH) has focused on taking the revisionist critique of the orthodox Holocaust story to the university campus across America. We have argued these twenty years that academics and students alike allow—encourage—a routine examination of the orthodox Holocaust narrative, just as every other historical narrative is open to such an examination
For twenty years we have struggled to crack open the taboo that prohibits such an examination of historical facts, a taboo that is supported collectively by academics in every discipline, by the chancellors and administrations of world-renowned universities and community colleges alike. It is a taboo that is promoted with a special fervor by such special-interest organizations as Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, and the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith. Together they have multi-million-dollar budgets, while Hillel alone is represented on more than 500 American campuses.
In the American classroom the conventional Holocaust narrative is the one historical narrative that cannot be addressed openly, which means it cannot be addressed honestly. To make certain that this intellectually corrupt environment for students and academics alike continues and prospers, Hillel and ADL together have published and distributed to student newspaper staffs nationwide a 10,000-word paper titled Fighting Holocaust Denial in Campus Newspaper Advertisements--A Manual for Action. CODOH is the one entity publishing revisionist copy in the student press. The one purpose of this Hillel/ADL multi-million-dollar partnership publication is to stop CODOH from working on the American campus
This is a tough act to go up against. I admit it. At the same time, I'm going to continue to go up against it. The program this academic year is simple enough. While I cannot lay it all out here for the benefit of the folk at Hillel and ADL, I can say that we are going to be "in touch" with more students, more faculty, and larger segments of the administrative system, with more target material, than ever before. And this year—and this will depend significantly on contributions—we are looking at public speaking options on campus.
An open debate on the conventional, taboo-protected Holocaust narrative will help change American civilization from the bottom up. On campus students and faculty alike will be able to question the "unique" monstrosity of the Germans, and to ask (finally) what role Jews have played in the worlds "oldest hatred." Ordinary journalists will feel free to ask Holocaust "survivors" probing questions they would never think of asking now, and have not asked over the last sixty years. Hollywood and the publishing industry would turn away from using German stereotypes to represent evil, and Jewish stereotypes to represent anything and everything—but evil. That in itself would be a cultural revolution. And then there is television. How much do I need to say?
And of course there is the U.S. Congress, such as it is. An open debate on the Holocaust narrative? The new, modified, adapted to the truth narrative would expose the U.S. Congress to the necessity to rethink its relationship with the Israeli State. The Congressional world would fall apart. Without being able to morally exploit a now-ruined Holocaust story, how many more billions would it think morally justifiable to allocate to the Israeli military, including its nuclear weapons? Not so many perhaps? How would that affect the Arab Spring? Iran? I don't know, but an honest view of an historical narrative focused on Jews, and through Jews to European, Christian, and Muslim cultures the world over would seem to me a worthwhile task.
We're going to make some of this happen. How much of it we can make happen is significantly dependent on the support from those of you who seriously want to see it happen. I'm not going to spend a lot of money at any one place. But I will have to spend money—week after week after week. If you can help, please do. If you can send a couple, three or four thousand up front, please do. If you can send fifteen, twenty dollars a month please do. If you are unable to contribute anything yourself right now, perhaps you have a friend, an acquaintance, an uncle who would like to see this happen. Talk to him or her. Have them read this appeal.
I've been told that if you do not ask, it won't happen. Thank you,
Bradley Smith. CODOH Founder

Our America

Why does America need Islam?
From Br. Shamim Siddiqui, Long Island, New York
Adviser to Jamaat al-Muslimeen

"...drug addiction, alcoholism, nudity, gay lifestyle, pornography ... pouring its filth into the privacy of our homes... Outside, everywhere the environment is surcharged with sex exhibitions, lewdness and nudity. Streets are infested with  drug and alcohol addicts. At every corner and market place, there are liquor stores advertising 'Liquor for Sale.'... Wild disco-dance and music are only adding fuel to the highly combustible situation created by nudity, alcohol and sex oriented movies, magazines and commercial ads." [From the author's book  The Dawah Program.]

If you think imam Shamim is exaggerating, read this news item from Baltimore:

"There were 236 rapes in Baltimore between January and August 2011." "Real numbers may be much higher because police often drop rape cases.." [WBAL radio, October 18, 2011.]

In the Wake of "Occupy" Movement-4: Good Bye Religion!

Excerpts from

The Devil of Economic Fundamentalism

Dr Javed Jamil

Good Bye Religion!

Throughout the history, religion has played a significant role in the individual and social affairs of human beings. For most of the people that flourished in   different regions of the planet earth and in different eras, faith has been a sine qua non for their existence. In spite of the fact that religion has more often than not been defiled or contaminated by the self seeking clerics, it has earnestly and relentlessly endeavoured to discipline life by erecting the ethical fence around it. It has almost been a periodical phenomenon that the prophets and sages arrived with sublime messages of highest virtues, and no sooner did they depart than their followers successively adulterated those with immoralities and indecencies. Yet, it is an irrefutable truth that it is mainly owing to the strong influences on   human minds and hearts wielded by religion that truth,   honesty, sacrifice for others, justice and mercy have always been regarded as commendable virtues in society, even if the constituent members of society have not, generally, put them into practice. What is indisputably commendable is that religion assisted mankind in overcoming dilemma of routine life at a time when it was not advanced enough to objectively discriminate between the right and wrong. In the midst of all-pervading gloom, the solitary torch of religion shone; whoever had the eyes that could observe it, darkness made exit from his life.

The faiths that have been dominant in the world during last few millennia - Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Buddhism, Jainism. Christianity, Islam and Sikhism -- all have, without exception, magnified moral values. No religion preaches falsehood, dishonesty, cheating, bribery, hatred, violence, adultery and fornication. Each of them eschews, albeit in varying degrees, this-worldliness; Jainism and Buddhism condemn this life altogether; Christianity promotes celibacy; and Islam while permitting necessities and enjoyment of life within prescribed limits, promotes love for other-worldliness. Religion aims at achieving mental peace, and gives less importance to material gains. This principle applies to all religions, and this is what annoys most the economic fundamentalists; for promotion of materialism reigns supreme in their scheme of things. Their plan cannot succeed unless people became least    entangled in moral dilemma and the love of this worldliness ravishes that of the other-worldliness; if honesty rules the roost in their life, sex outside the ambit of marriage is considered immoral and illegal, self-sacrifice lords over their hearts and minds and deceit and falsehood haunt their conscience, how would they be persuaded to "enjoy" the "comforts of life" (without unduly caring for right and wrong) that the merchants seek to market with great fanfare?

Christianity first target of Corporates

It first happened in West where the business moguls involved in rapid industrialization realised the compelling need to marginalise religion, Christianity was their obvious target; they sought to minimise its influence in affairs of the state in Europe. It had played a vital role in the crusade. The bishops enjoyed unchallenged authority and respect in society that helped them in exerting pressures on the rulers. The kings too needed a moral boost for themselves, and many of them feared God. They were therefore usually reluctant to earn displeasure of the religious patriarchs; for any disturbance to their equation with them could loosen the rulers' grip on the masses; the danger of sedition constantly hovered over them. But with the growing fortunes of the industrialists, the monarchs were now better placed to back a campaign for the separation of Church and Establishment, a demand that had been voiced even in the past, but without much of a success. The time was ripe to push ahead as the rulers and the industrialists could now act in tandem. The rift between this-worldliness and other-worldliness, led to the coinage of the concept of secularism. Secularism as a movement began at the time of Renaissance, and aimed to direct society from other-worldliness to this-worldliness. It was presented as an ideology that exhibited the development of humanism and the growth of man's interest in human cultural achievements. It has been in progress during the entire course of modern history, and the critics have rightly viewed it as primarily anti-Christian and anti-religion. The clerics resisted the move, but their efforts to stall the march of economic fundamentalism in the garb of secularism proved futile. A number of theologians in the second half of the twentieth century made a vain attempt to reconcile Christianity with the demands of the modern life by proposing Secular Christianity meaning that man should find in the secular world the opportunity to promote Christian values. Little they realised that the secular movement was in fact directed against these very values, and not against the rituals of that religion. Secularism showed tremendous progress in Christian countries, because Christianity did not have an elaborate code of human actions; it had to face greater resistance in Islamic states as there had been a strong belief among Muslims that Islam was not just a set of rituals, but had an elaborate system for all affairs of the world. Thus, secularism achieved the remarkable feat of "emancipating" the state from the "clutches" of religion. One European country after the other started adopting secularism The economic fundamentalists had won a major battle.

Secularism and materialism great assets for the corporates

The estrangement of Church and Establishment was only one step, though extremely crucial, towards the goal the economic fundamentalist had set for themselves. They envisaged complete marginalisation of religion, and the values it stood for, in the social lives of men and women; for though the state could be persuaded to adopt an irreligious approach in socioeconomic matters, the ultimate success lay in the creation of demands for the industrial products. To multiply demands, materialism was required to be glorified, and for the rise of materialism, religion was the greatest obstacle. This realization was responsible for the sustained tirade against the clergy, and against whatever religion championed for. The problem however was that the faith lorded over the hearts and minds of the people. An outright condemnation of the oracles of religion was attended with dangerous possibilities. It could prove counterproductive as the masses might have reacted outrageously. The clergy might have issued edicts declaring these activities blasphemous, and hardly any member of society had the audacity to face charges of blasphemy or apostasy. His faith in God, and scriptures was not weak enough to permit this; he could also face ostracism. It was therefore considered strategically more expedient and less risky to campaign for privatisation of religion rather than exhibiting contempt for it. It was pleaded that faith was an absolutely personal matter. Men and women might engage in as many rituals as they liked; but, in other arenas, particularly the social, economic and political, the involvement of religion  must be shunned, and those mixing the two must be condemned and if needed adequately   punished.
