Kashmir is a big prison house, says JalibIslamabad, September 01, 2010: Jammu & Kashmir Human rights Council International Wing Chairman Raja Habib Jalib has called Kashmir under Indian occupation, a great prison house and said that India is killing innocent civilians in Jammu & Kashmir. Torturing political prisoners and political workers all around in Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir is a gross human rights violation and India must be on the list of countries, which are committing war crimes.

He said that refusal by China to give visa to B.S.Jaswal, an Indian General shows clearly that Indian army is killing civilians just to take revenge of mass protest against Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir.

He said that India must not use its force to legalize its occupation which is illegal and India must give the people of Jammu & Kashmir, their right of self-determination according to UN resolutions, promissed by its own Prime Minister Mr Nehru.

He condemned the arrest of Bar members of Kashmir and extra judicial prosecution by military and Para military forces of civilians without any crime.

He called on human rights Organizations of the world to raise this issue of human rights violations in the world and demanded release of all lawyers arrested and all the political leaders and workers. He called upon Prime Minister of Pakistan and other Muslim Countries to let India know that killing of innocent civilians and arrest of political leaders will not deter the people of Jammu & Kashmir for asking their right of self-determination promised by UN and agreed upon by India. He condemned the brutal military action against civilians and called them as crimes against humanity, where all humanitarian laws are ignored.
