The flood in Pakistan, is one of the greatest tragedies of recent times, and calls for our urgent attention and action, as made clear by this YouTube video. Please watch this interview with Prof. Amar Sindhu to know what is happening there, and what kind of help is required. It's bigger than Tsunami, and our response should be bigger than the calamity.
Sadly, politics is making it difficult for people from this side of the border to go to Pakistan and volunteer. Thousands of volunteers have applied in India to go and help out, but it seems unlikely that they would be allowed. If you are in a position of power, do help. If you are a journalist, you can help by writing about it.
