UCO BANK'S NEW RATE OF INTEREST FOR TERM DEPOSITS

Kolkata, August 9, 2010.

 

UCO Bank has increased the interest rates for term deposit of different durations w.e.f. 6.8.2010. The new rates of interest for 7 to 14 days deposit (Rs.15 lakh and above) is 2.50%, Senior Citizens will get 0.75% extra. Interest rates for 1 year and 3 years to less than 5 years, for an amount of less than 15 lakh, have been increased to 6.75% and 7.25% respectively. Senior citizens will get 0.50% higher rate of interest in both the schemes.

 

The bank has also launched "UCO Wealth Maximiser Fixed Deposit Scheme" for a duration of 999 days for amount below Rs.1 crore with rate of interest at 7.50%. Senior Citizens will get 8.00% under this scheme. This scheme is effective from 9^th August, 2010.
