Dear Friends,
It was inspiring and rejuvenating to see the enthusiastic participation and overwhelming solidarity from activists, comrades, friends and well-wishers of Cinema of Resistance during the recently concluded 2nd Kolkata People's Film Festival (KPFF) and the One-day People's Film festival in Santiniketan. Post the festivals, our team will be traveling to various towns and villages in West Bengal, over the next few months before monsoon - screening films and opening dialogues with new audiences. We will also be screening among school students. If any of you would like to organize screenings in your schools, colleges, universities, localities, union gatherings, workplaces, neighbourhoods - please get in touch with us at the contacts given below.
The 144-page anthology (in Bangla), priced at Rs. 100, is now available at several stalls in the Kolkata Book Fair, namely 'Monfakira' (stall no. 542), 'Bhashabandhan' (stall no. 524), 'Janaswartha Barta' (stall no. 398), 'Lokayata Sahitya Chakra' (stall no. 312), 'SEARCH' (stall no. 317), 'APDR' (stall no. 487), 'Srayan' (stall no. 362), 'Chhnoya' (stall no. 485) and in the Little Magazine Pavilion (Grafitti)
