Dear Fellow Indians,
I shall be grateful if you ask the Pakistani High Commissioner in your country to explain the security and safety of Sikhs in Pakistan in view of the beheading of innocent Sikhs in Peshawar. Please also ask about the total number of Sikhs remaining in Pakistan.
In view of the fact that Sikhs are an easy target, every effort should be made to rehabilitate them either in India or in the West where equality for everyone is enshrined in the constitution, regardless of race or religion.
I have asked Mr. Virendra Sharma MP today to write to the Pakistani High Commission in London on this issue. He has confirmed to me that a letter is going out immediately. It will be a disgrace if we do nothing and let Sikhs become victims for no reason or fault of their own.
I am sure the civilized word will be sympathetic to Sikhs who were created to defend the basic human rights of every Indian and are the epitome of sacrifices for others.
We must ask the British, Canadian and US Government to offer safe havens to Sikh refugees.
Please donate generously to Gurdwaras willing to help Sikh refugees from Pakistan.
Thank you.
