Sir,

 

"Hindu Swarajya" wanted to take out a Chitra Rath on 4.2.2010 on "Afzal Guru".  The office of Additional Commissioner of Police refused permission for the same. We met the police officials at Additional Commissioner Office and were told that the local Muslims at Worli and Dadar may be hurt by any criticism of Afzal Guru. If they resort to violence, there would be law and order problem.  Hence we were sternly warned to refrain from hurting sentiments of these local Muslims failing which stringent action would be taken against us.

 

Copy of the communication from police is attached.

 

Look at the fate of modern Maharashtra!  Protection for Shah Rukh Khan's freedom of expression and a ban on Patriotic Indians' activity due to fear of hurting supporters of Afzal Guru!

 

The Central Executive Committee of "Hindu Swarajya" will meet on 19th February 2010 to chalk out further action plan.
